libgeo-ipfree-perl software package provides module to look up the country of an IPv4 address, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgeo-ipfree-perl
libgeo-ipfree-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgeo-ipfree-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgeo-ipfree-perl *
You will get with libgeo-ipfree-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
